This morning we dropped the min bin off at pitstop brize norton for it to go on the rollers. Now we just got a call off the guy saying that they dont want to take it on the rolling road because they think it will blow itself to pieces!! :D

Apparently they think its either the small end thats gone, or the pistons are hitting the head.

They are going to take the head off this afternoon and check it out.

This is going to be EXPENSIVE!

Haha also my dad mentioned taking it on l2b to the guy on the phone. The guys reply was 'in this state theres no way i would take it on l2b!'

Basically the cars knackered. Bum.

Ahem... flipfront type R ahem.... :shifty:

Gutted though mate, hope it doesnt lighten your wallet too much! But look at it this way, after a complete engine rebuild, it should all be bullet proof and a lot quicker! :D

The words 'complete engine rebuild' scare the crap out of me :D

But yeah you're right, it should be faster and hopefully wont break down on l2b!

why dont you grab yourself an engine of ebay and do a quick change? Might get you running in time for L2b?

Problem with buying engines on ebay is that anyone can sell anything on there. If you do go for this option, get someone who knows exactly what they are looking at to scrutinize the engine for any possible weakness before you put it in, or even better if possible before you buy it.
