I've welded some new panels into my project and have noticed that some people use weld seal to seal the joints. But I can't find anywhere that sells it. Is it just normal silicon sealer?

hi, also known as seam sealer which can be bought from shops that sell welding supplies or auto paints/body panels.

i used the grey stripe one before and switched to one called dinitrol..
the grey stripe tends to rub off the paint thats underneath :shifty:

well i normally do it that way..
prime
paint
sealer

its alot of time n little effort but just in case the water does seep through the sealer at least theres primer and paint to protect it..
