Following on from the "Musical Airhorns" thread, I was wondering if it's possible to create your own horn with the sound effect of your choice? :)

My inner geek has always wanted to be able to make the sound of a TIE fighter when overtaking other roadusers. For those unlightened, a TIE fighter is one of these thingummies from that Star Wars. :dontgetit:

If you could obtain a digital recording of whatever effect you want, presumably you could mock up a lil amp, speaker & wire it to a large, red, mushroom shaped button on the dash labelled "Banzai" or some suchlike, isn't it?

Just a random friday afternoon inquiry....

Worth looking in to. You can get record your own alarm systems so I can't see why not horns.

I'd like Gary Coleman 'what you talkin about Willis' or the start of the spongebob theme for mine.

i like this idea, wired to an MP3 player and a micraphone, then you can play anything.

i know i would turn up at school playing Bring Me The Horizon's 'No need for introductions (ive read about girls like you on the back of toilet doors)
(still want to do that at prom)

i have also seen some CB radios with built in horn tones, and loud speaker outputs, but i can remember where from.
