Its true though, they are mostly retarded?

I wouldn't know, I've not met enough of them to say that most of them are! Have you? Or have you just met a small percentage of them? Or, worse still, are you only talking about ones off the tellybox or t'interweb that you've never even met? :)

Well, ive met about 2, but Xbox live is just scary. I just go on there nowadays TO laugh at them, there all so pathetic. Theres just thausands of 12 year olds who sit there whining "owned", "pwned","that was 7337","wow your a noob", etc etc ;D.

I think that this kind of talk should be stopped, before it gets out of hand, no one has the right to call anyone a Retard, there are many Americans who own Mini's and I am sure they don't appreciate this playground talk :) so come guys have some respect  :P

It looks like a good set, and I wouldn't mind something like that, but I got a ratchet set from there for xmas, and from their lifetime guarantee bit, and I have taken the ratchet back twice, and now its broken again, and I can't be bother to take it back again, because I'm sure it would just happen again :) .

Agreed, no matter how tongue in cheek it is, it's still an insulting generalisation really.

I also don't see how you can possibly base your opinion of a nation upon what they're like when they are playing on a games console. Surely the fact that they're sitting on a games console talking to each other is enough to tell you that they're not prime examples of their nation?!?

Back on topic now, please!

I realy don't rate that kit, a friend of mine bought it when he got his mini.

The screwdrivers heads got damaged straight away, ratchets can't hold any torque and just break, hes only got the little one left.
And the sockets don't fit nuts/bolts properly and have rounded a few. I advise people not to get this and spend the extra money and get decent tools.

Also very annoying is that not all sockets fit in the ratchets so you have to constantly change ratchets for diferent size sockets. Oh just remembered the screwdriver that can take all the different little bits can be bought in tesco for 99p.

but surely, you would most probably pay the same amount of money for just the chest anyway. plus look at the amount you get. i might just get one seeing as its so cheap :). cheers marky tizz.

I bought one of these a wile back. wen i opened it the sockets already had surface rust on and after a few uses the ratchets gave up.

agreed it isnt the best chest but just for convenience sake and once the tools DO give up you've got a decent chest to fill with shiny new expensive tools :) a chest that size is usually about £40 anyway which is half the reason I bought it.
To those that thanked me, no problem glad to be of service ;D heheh

Now add some "snap On" stickers and you've got yourself £400 worth of box :)

I brought one of these then the day after i went in and the lady there said "your a traider right?" so i said yes, so she popped out the back got me a card, i signed a couple of pieces of paper, just a shame i didnt get it the day before as i would have saved even more lol.

Its not the best piece of kit, but for a home kits its ok good for the money really.

With mine i just didnt bother with all the tools they cave with the kit and just filled it with my own stuff lol.

Well yes the chest is ok, but not great. I suppose this kit will do for occasional servicing but for any major work I just wouldn't bother.

To buy it just for the chest seems a little weird, if your not going to use the tools I would buy a better chest, the lid doesn't close brilliantly and the draws seem a little loose. I've seen a clarke roller bearing box I want and am saving for that, wouldn't touch halfords tools unless it's their professiona range which are supurb.
