My driver's side wheel sits too far forward, so when I am full lock the wheel scrubs the inside of the arch?
I've had a look at all the bushings, tie bars don't look bent to me, and the other side is fine, so the subframe alignment is alright!

Driver's side is like this: |---O-|
Passenger's side is like: |--O--|

If the tie bars are bent, would it be noticeable? I can get some pictures if you need them.
What else should I look at?

EDIT: After looking at pictures of tie bars on their own, they're perfectly straight. I think mine has a slight kink at the top. Would it be possible to straight it back? Or would it just weaken the metal and snap?

Might take them off and have a good look...

Just an idea:
Have a look beetween front panel a subframe, where are the teardrop mounts. There are some shims in beetween..like this one:

They are meant to modify clearence of ur front wheel, probably you have a different ammount of spacers on one side so one wheel is closer to the front then the other one..

Bent tiebars can be straightened, as long as they arn't seriously bent.... however for the price of a pair of new ones and a fixing kit and new rubbers...... its worth the extra expense than risking it

Although they would have to be very bent to cause the situation that you are asking about.... I would have to agree with Jaydee for the most part...... whilst measuring the lengths yourself you may discover that you don't have a matched pair... There are a couple of different lengths depending on your car.

Are there??

standard tie rods are all the same length...

The front panel shims wont make a great deal of difference to your wheel clearance... the front panel is quite solidly welded on, and banging shims in there doesnt push the front panel forward by a huge amount. The shims are needed due to the manufacturing tolerancies and to line up the front subframe to the front panel..
