I am looking around for a new interior for my mini its standard brown seats at the moment and as the car is white I was going for a grey mayfair interior. The only problem I dont know how easy it would be to replace the brown vinyl between the front window screen and the dash the bit with the front windscreen vents in. It might look odd if I left it brown so was going to change it but dont know how difficult it is, any advise much appreciated.

For the dash rails you are talking about you have a few options,
you can have them recovered in vinyl either do it yourself or you can buy the top and bottom in vinyl ready to fit by retro retrims. They do loads of colours and you can have the edges in piping too. Or you can get vinyl paint and spray paint them both, it's good because vinyl paint is flexible so it doesn't tend to crack like normal paint.
Spraying them yourself would probably be the cheapest option.

Thanks for the info about retro retrims and for telling me what the part I was talking about was called, will look into the paint option as well.
