I just received a pair of cooper-like mirrors from minispares (part # GS25320 ). I have one question. Apparently there is a missing cover on each mirror on the base, on the photo they appear from the back side, but from the other side the mechanism is shown and there is no cover. It looks like an snap-on cap should be there.

Are those caps missing or is this the way the mirrors are supposed to be?

They do need a cover but whether it is supposed to be included when you buy a mirror as a spare part I can't say. If you're buying a spare you should already have a cover after all.
