Polishing Mop

I’m after the loan for the usual cash and beer tokens, of a mop/polisher (Unless anyone knows of a cheap one I can purchase) to try and save my satin finish paintwork.
I’ve tried polishing it up by hand using G3 compound, but my arms were about to drop off after doing just the bonnet, and it could still do with going back over again.
I’m willing to up to a 30 odd mile radius of Milton Keynes and preferably before Himley Hall on the 10th of may in just over 2 weeks time.
Cheers,

seems cheap enough
Thanks, I already have one of those, but it’s only really useful on just general polishing of alreadyngood paintwork. It’s not really suitable for proper cutting/polishing, as it simply doesn’t have the guts to do it.

And your arms will ache after a while but you get used to it when doing it alot.

Just s thought on your paintwork, if the finish is satin from a recent re-spray, your best bet might be colour sanding, basically, if the surface isn't flat, you will never get a high gloss finish just by polishing, flat with 1200 or 1500 wet and dry paper on a fairly flexable sanding block (lots of clean water) and then compond using g6 g3 and g10. This is what we do on our concourse finishes, you will be amazed at the shine you can achieve, a word of warning though, be careful not to sand right through your clear/colour coat!

That’s the plan I had in mind, cutting back the paint and polishing it back up. As I don’t want a concourse finish, as it’s a daily driver, but I would still like some sort of shine.
I’ve done it before on other cars, but conveniently I was able to borrow the one from work (mechanic by trade) at the time, but at the mo that isn’t possible for me to do.
The problem I have though is the ones I had been looking at start at around the £100 mark and go upwards, which is a bit much for me at the mo, what with road tax and insurance both due at the end on the month.

But the one cookie4343 has found looks to be a pretty good deal.
