Hello all just found out I was sold the wrong coil, the one I have is a Lucas sport DLB105 which is for all pre 1996 minis. Gives a stronger spark for more complete combustion in the chamber and smoother running throughout the rev range suits all non ballast wiring systems but is no good for me as I need one that is for a electronic ignition system as used on the rover metro, so I need either a Lucas DLB198 or OE DCL143.
I know its a long shot but someone else may also been sold the wrong darn coil.
