My mini has broke again!
Starter motor *disconnected itself* on thursday when it was sitting in my drive for no reason..
So towed it to the garage behind my dad's Pick up
And now the head gasket has gone and i was only running on 2 cylinders for most of yesterday
So yeah.... Peugeot power again
Back to the garage we go to get the head reskimmed... hopefully i have enough time to fix it before riviera.

Yeah, shes been very naughty recently >
Its either a valve or more likely the head gasket. Should be getting the head reskimmed monday or tuesday this week.

Yeah but they didnt change the radiator which was blocked up and we had overheating problems.
Then he topped up the radiator with antifreeze a few days before it happened. apparantly that can find weakness's and that could of done it :S

Opps
Think we have found our problem.
Just taking the head to be reskimmed, can be done whilst we wait.
Was caused by the engine overheating with the dodgy radiator i had, which was replaced a week after the engine was rebuilt.
Topped off by refilling the radiator with new antifreeze which found the weakness last week

its fine now, head has been skimmed, its back at the garage being put back together.
Getting a new thermostat too just to make sure it doesnt happen again.
Maybe back tomorrow evening but more likely wednesday
