Hi everyone... newbie here! :cool:

I've been perusing your lovely forum over the last few weeks as my bf & I purchased my first/his 2nd little mini a couple of months ago - it's a 1979 850 super in black. She needs a bit of TLC but she's pretty sound and a good runner.

We currently plan to leave her as an 850 but tune her up as much as possible, but we're both a bit skint now so keeping her on the road and enjoying her as she is is the name of the game!

Anyhoo, I read about the Brands Hatch to Nurburgring run and lo and behold I spotted some of your chaps on my way to work this morning - bout a convoy of 20 or so!! So I thought I'd register and say hello and wish them all the best... it certainly cheered up my morning seeing them all...

Mind you I'm not sure what they thought of the nutty woman in the Clio waving at them...

Not totally recent... we took off the jet black sticker (because it's not!) and have put a nice chrome wing mirror on now because the other one fell off on the way to Southern Mini Days!! :gasp:
