Hi all on the forums, im Ahmet, and im an 18yo student from kent...

Basically I bought a 1989 Rover Mini Racing in BRG from an advert I saw in the classified section of the forums. This was about three weeks ago now, and i thought its about time i get to know people on the forums.

I bought this Mini to own as a rolling project, and shamefully i own a BMW Mini as an everyday car.

However, I have always wanted a rover mini, and now that i have got past some financial issues i finally got one!

I must say the experience is out of this world

The "Real" mini is set up as follows:

- Full safety devices 6pt roll cage
- Saebelt 4pt Harness's
- Corbeau Forza Bucket seats
- 13" Ultralite Split rims
- 1275 Metro engine
- Gaz shocks
- Hi-Lo's
- Wide Arches
- and loads of little extras

I must say, the handling of these little cars when set up well is unreal, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I (well, my friends) have nicknamed her Booger, so i guess thats going to stick

But anyway, thats me and booger for you all.

Thanks matey! She needs a few bits and pieces doing, but other than the odd rust patch, its pretty mint for its age

Very nice mini, I also own a rover 1990 mini but mine is in flame red

I prefer BRG though
