Hey,
I know of the Z-cars kits and also the Pro-Motive kit, what other options do I have?
I live in Australia and the exchange rate from Pounds to Australian dollars is CRAZY!
It will basically end up costing me double, plus shipping to Australia.

So if anyone knows what kits are available and there rough costs and a link to there site,
this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have a 1994 Cooper that im looking to convert.

Thanks, Alex.

its not the answer to your question, but get the promotive kit its the best way to spend a few grand.
is the Auzzie dollar as shagged as the pound?

The Aussie Dollar is worth less than half of the Pound at the moment, and ussually has been worth less than that, so I need to find a cheap as possible subframe kit

I found a company called lynx but nothing would appear to be happening, and Cheap is relative you pays your money and you get what you paided for if you know what i mean, if you find a cheap kit it will most likely be a copy maybe a not very good copy.
If you see the kits Z cars and promotive do you can understand the price alot of work has gone into these kits.
looks like you will have to wait until something happens to the Dollar or Ebay becomes fruitful.

Apart from coming across a kit (rather than whole car complete) thats been put up for sale is gonna be luck more than anything so you might have to bite the bullet and just buy one new.

But it might be worth contacting Pro-motive to see if they sell bits separate? But if your buying bit by bit your shipping costs will start to add up eventually?

buy a pro-mo kit, have it delivered to me, and then I'll post the bits out seperated and listed as scrap metal to avoid minimalise import duty and taxes..... :)

Or consider building your own solution or getting it built for you by a local fabrication shop, this is doable especially the rear engined kits which don't use a custom transfer box like the promotive fwd kit, just start with a good quality 6 point cage and modify the rear section to suit

Cheers
David
