well hello

im david, 17 from Northern Ireland, Belfast

i have a 1989 mini 998cc, red with a black roof

i bought it off eBay its the 2nd mini we got off eBay the other 1 was my sisters, NMM 797X, but thats a show car

well..... On the 8th nov 08, me and my dad flew over to doncaster to drive it all the way back to stranraer to get the boat back over. we drove it well over 400 miles in it and the last 100miles in the worst rain i had ever seen, with the lights on full beam the rain looked like strobe lights lol. but nothing went wrong.

its my pride and joy, i love it even though it dosnt really go anywhere fast, but its a go cart to drive. and thats the fun of having a mini " you dont need to go fast to have fun"

all i need to do is pass my driving test lol

Looks a nice car. And 500 miles with nothing going wrong that dam good. Im in the same boat as you at the moment I just need to pass my test then I can drive my Mini everywhere. Wecome to TMF.
