1992 SPI Cooper - its Red what was the factory Red.

Cant find it on the mini colour guide !

Think the paint code is CWU or similar.

What is it....Flame red is far too bright !

whats the code on your VIN plate??
if its a cooper the VIN plate code will lead to another two codes,one for the roof and the other for the body of the car

Bang on CMU just checked plate - Solar red !!! Cracking Thanks you and it does look like a darker red not an inyour face pillar box type red!

Eyes playing tricks on nme paint code from the VIN is RWU then trim code.

Any ideas on the red......

Solar red looks the closest.

According to here

RWU is a combination of COF and NMN

COF Flame Red 1988-1999
NMN White Diamond 1985-1995

There are multiple flame red's though, so the one you saw may have been the wrong one?
