Hi all,
Ive got a KAD internal gear linkage fitted. Im having trouble getting into 3rd gear its very stiff. If I go to 4th then back to 3rd its slides in fine.
Any ideas? Im thinking maybe i havnt adjusted the linkage correclty?

Try speaking to Adrian at KAD, friendly chap who will give you advice. I havent fitted mine yet so can't help you sorry

it'll be a problem on the rotational adjustment mate.
When I set mine up, I put the box into second and then adjusted the rod until the lever moved towards second, and tightened it up.
First and second worked perfectly, and I got the exact same issue as you did. I found the rod was spinning slightly too far round towards second. Pull it back towards neutral a tad, and it'll still go into 1st and 2nd fine, as well as 3rd and 4th.
I hope that makes sense. it was spinning further than it needed towards second, resulting in not enough spin towards 3rd.

Yer that sounds about right.... however it seems to be going to far over to 3rd.
How do I adjust that?

Just loosen the locking tab at the in car end, and spin the rod back a touch and nip it up again.
When you fitted it all, did you put the plate on under the selector the right way round? With the reverse gate on the correct side?

Erm ... i just cant get it to work.
It deffo feels like its at the gearlever end not the gearbox itself.
Any more ideas?
