it comes in a spray.. it says to spray into the carb. does it mean take off the filer and just spray generally where the air would go?

Theres been comments on this type of stuff (like redex??) and it doesn't do much for the engine, a proper de-coke would be to whip the head off and clean up the pistons crowns and valves etc.

I have found it to be very good myself, although admittedly on diesels.....
