Well I'm gonna need some autosol to clean the carbs up ;) Make them all shiney  I got 2 pancake mesh air filters for it, so they're really nice and shiney :) When I can afford some, I'll be buying a pair of K&N cones :D Maybe at Beaulieu next year, their prices were pretty good this year.

I'll be using Henny's rocker cover rather than the one that's already attached, so that'll need some Autosol too :D

Gotta have Henny's engine bay cleaned and sprayed black too :D

All sounds fab! How much are the K&N ones for your carbs?

I got a filter when i brought my webber but i am going to run it without it, I wish i went to Beaulieu now but i had to work >:o

Sounds like you can make 1 pefect mini out of the two then! :)

I need inch and a quarter for these carbs, and I'd be looking at maybe £25 for one cone filter, maybe more, well that's how much they were at Beaulieu!

You should have went Scott, Henny was on the special stand ;) Was a cracking day to be honest, my first time at Beaulieu and my first mini show :D Was great :)

I dunno about that, Henny leaks badly in the wet, and she's in need of a lot of bodywork :D She'll cost a fair bit of money to do up :D

Progressssssssssssssssssssssss?

Nothing at present as my dad's going through a tribunal about redundancy, so I'm not going to hassle him about doing the cleaning the he promised to do for me

I bought Dorothy under my dad's persuation, and the agreement was, that if I bought her, he would take the engine out and clean it, as well as paint it...he's wanted a engine to mess about with, and now he's got one  I'm holiding him up on his end of the bargain

It's just the engine block left now, head is off, along with all the hoses, all except the oil cooler

Ahhh i see!

Still you can help him by painting little bits! Then he can play with it when it's ready to be put back together!

unfortunately I realise having read through my thread that I'd hoped to have Dotty's engine inside Henny's engine bay by now....My dad has had huge problems and almost been made redundant, so I've had to be patient, having escaped redundancy, it means he has to put in more effort at work and focus on staying the company's Union Representative....

So only a little update...

Managed to borrow an engine hoist, it which case, my dad hoisted the engine up onto one of the work benches, so at some point he can clean it then paint it, without it being in the way of all the other crud he keeps in the garage :withstupid: As well Fred and Dorothy :P

Will brings updates whenever anything might happen! :P
