Sorry Ben, only just found this! Hope you, your brother and William got home ok the other night :)

Ok the update for now...in need of changing the throttle and choke cables, so Dad undid them (carb end) and for some reason took out the bolt which you thread your throttle cable into...then lost it down the back of the engine  Went along to Austin Watts (previously Dorchester Mini Centre) and got another...Dad has fitted everything back together this afternoon, only to find that the engine now won't fire! >_<

Any suggestions - greatly appreciated!

Won't be going on M2M this year after all, I can't book the day off of work, hoping to make Castle Combe though.......

Still no joy with getting the 1275 running with the new carb :(

Right! Not had internet the past few weeks so here's the update.

Engine was 180 out...Sorted. Got her running - trottle cable just needed swapping and the exhaust tightening up. Swapped throttle...sorted. Running well bar the exhaust. :proud:

Yesterday...got 700yrds up the road, could hardly breathe despite the windows open, thanks to the exhaust, and she was popping and banging...timing has slipped again :mmkay:

Situation now...trying to find someone local with a timing light >_<
