I know the ones you mean, think they are pretty rare tho, don't know were you would get one from unless you get lucky and get a second hand one from somewere like ebay. You might have to make your own.

well originally the mini was designed to use the boot lid as a luggage rack, hence the hinged number plate on the mk1's.
