hi, iv seen one or two mpi minis fitted with panel glass electric sunroofs, as an optional extra from new.

i doubt very much that a whole sunroof would be designed just for the mini. therefore, does anyone know if this sunroof was fitted to any other rover models at the time?

I dont think Rover did a sunroof on the MPi's.

Try someone like Webasto.

my mpi (2000) has a hand opening glass sunroof from standerd if thats any help lol

Is it a big one like a webasto or just a small one in the front?
If it is big can we get a pic of it?

I have a 1999 Mini Cooper Sportspack with the electric glass sunroof.

This was an official Rover Mini accessory, as shown in the Mini brochure.

I even have the original order form & bill of sale for my Cooper, with the
sunroof listed on the options section.

It was supplied to Rover, by Webasto, just like the folding version & I believe
the electric glass sunroof was also an option on other Rover models, while
the folding electric version was only available on the Mini.

my 1st MPI had a tilt and slide eleccy glass sunroof fitted from the factory and it was made by webasto. And webasto stil do them and can be fitted for about £500-£700 depending on the model you are after (few options, auto close ect).

Looked into it as my current MPI doesn't have one and i quite fancy another
