Our R Reg mini cooper has an immobiliser fitted to it. This afternoon the car would not start but after a jump it started fine but n ow the immobiliser is stuck on and will not respond to the remote. Any ideas anyone?

I second that! Try the other set of keys you should have. Its happened to me on both the minis I has with immobilisers on.
