going to be taking my engine out, and looking for some graphite grease (as stated by haynes for the rebuild), will this stuff do?

it says its ok for CV joints, but i know how picky the mini is!

You normally get a sachet in with new CV joints, if you're changing them that is :thumbsup:

if you only need a sachets worth, try going to alocal motor factors.

every time i have been and asked, they give me the sachet for free, as they come out of spare boot kits they have lying around

it just for repacking when i put my new engine in, should only need 1-2 sachets. could replade the boots aswell, so might as well get a boot kit :thumbsup:

I've always chucked a load of the black Moly-grease inside mine.

cv grease is not graphite grease

if you use that cv molybendium stuff on your engine rebuild i.e. clutch plunger it will turn into clay as it drys out and wont do its job as it will seize up. (I found out the hard way)

You can order the graphite grease online from holden vintage and classic its not expensive.
