i just literally bought a BMW Mini Cooper and it judders when i take it through the gears at 5,000 to 6,000 revs, surely this isnt normal. Sytner BMW say they can't find the cause of the problem as drive shaft is fine etc

is it at a cetain road speed or a certain RPM then? It sounds like it could be a slight misfire if it is at a certain RPM. There are a lot of possible causes but it is very difficult to diagnose over a forum. I would try posting this in the technical and problems section if I were you, you may get more response then. :wink:

My missus has a mini cooper and I can assure you thats not normal! I'm not sure what it could be but it ain't normal! :nugget:

Totally! A real Mini, not a MINI - lol - sorry, shouldn't laugh... sounds serious! Nothing worse that not having confidence in something you've paid a lot of money for! :blink:
