
A Few Electrical Issues Help Needed

Please give your topic a title that quickly describes your problem. Just putting 'Help my Mini doesn't work' is useless to anyone trying to help.

Model: mayfair
Year:1994 (carb) (part spi too )
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):
Basically wehn yup starting the mini the other day it partically turned over then stopped.. nothing by turning the key nothing works at all appears to be no voltage to the starter ..
what is it that i could have done ?
Also have no hazards or indicators.. have recently re wired the side repeaters and new front indicators but now nothing works (this problem was apparent before the one stated above)
any help and or advice would be very much appreciated as i need the car MOTing soon and im totally stumped as what to do now (ive searched on here and tried some things)

i had this one time in the boot the earth lead that is on the boot floor from the battery take the bolt out and clean the metal were the bolt gos in and see if that will make you get power into the car this got me going but is not good if you have this happen at the filling station like it did too me

could it be becasue the boot floor has recently been painted?
and has anyone else anything else i should try ??
It could be because the boot floor has been painted, the paint could be stopping the earth wire conduct with the shell.
Have you checked the live terminal of the battery is connected securly and properly? I know it seems obvious but could easily be over looked (not that i have done that before

yeah its clean and tight as it will go on the terminal .. thats what i checked first as thats normally where i foget

however still have no indicators the fuse is fine so i am thinking the yellow relay?
