What needle is in it, and what mods have been done to the engine ??
Also is the choke linkage fitted correctly to the new jet.

Do you mean screw or mixture nut, its a nut on the HS4, only ask incase you are adjusting the wrong thing.

Sorry, yeah its a nut not screw. Its a standard needle, no mods just a RC40 back box. Yes choke linkage is fitted correctly.

Worth checking the new jet is moving fully up and down and not jamming.
sorry if this is teaching you suck eggs, sometimes helps to clarify bits incase we miss something because we assume somebody is doing it right.
looking from above turning nut anticlockwise is weaken , clockwise is enrich

Can't hurt to change the needle they are pretty cheap. AAC is standard on a no mods 998
