i am struggling to find a clip to keep the choke cable in place, it should attach on the carb and feed the cable into place

I think this is what you are after.. sort of But surely it must be cheaper elsewhere, or if someone is breaking a mini. Try contacting some of the people on ebay breaking mini's ?

I just used one of these electrical connections, cut off one connection and put the cable through the hole on the choke and nipped it up on the other side..

If you have a Hif carb then yes the above is what you need.

Its hard to explain how it goes on by typing on a keyboard, its very straightforward, so its gonna be picture time! Gimme a sec....
