Bare Shell In The Back Of A Long Wheel Base Transit?

the dimentions say it will... but does it in theory? Any one tried it?

I havent googled the dimensions, but one thing I can say, is that the wheel arches may get in your way - also if the van has been ply lined you will need to take this into consideration. Just thought it would be worth a check. If the wheel arches are in the way you may need to raise the shell over them which would almost certainly involve supporting it somehow.

had a mini shell between the arches in a lwb custom transit 190 with room to spare

I have moved a couple in mk5 transit's, best thing to do is put something between the arches, pallets, wheels or anything so they are the same height as the arches to prevent the shell wedging between the arches, but they do fit.
