The plan is to mount in in to a center console but I dunno how well that's gonna work. If anyone else has any ideas then let me know.
I also got a new inteor light. Its the later style one that fit's flush to the roof. I don't know if it will fit or not but I'll give it ago.
Cheers.

I'm in the same position as you with doors Jon, its rusting on both doors where the frame meets the actual main part of door if that makes sense, i was hoping it would be a case of welding and the grinding down to how it was originally, let me know how you get on, i think i'm going post up some pictures of mine to get an expert opinion.
Well I went to the scrappy today. They wanted £80 for the doors. One had been dropped so it wernt worth it. I also nearly bought a plastic bodied mini heater for £10 although at the last min so guy decided he wanted £60 for it so I just left it.
So I still need new doors and I still need a new heater. So today didn't really go to well. O well I got that cup holder and a new interior light and I didn't pay for either of those as I just put them in my tool box and left.

This is a sick project, well done. I might start one up like this -although it will be a lot less productive!
Where did you get the dash from?

just went through the whole project! wish i had time to just spend on cleaning and repainting parts unforunatly college and learning mechanics at a garage takes its toll... car looks great though! what do you think of the EBC green stuff pads?
also where did you get that cup holder from?
I can't comment on the green stuff pads. I still have drums on the front at the moment so their not fitted. The discs will be going on when the new engine goes in. The cup holder came out of a VW golf. I don't spend enough time on the mini really. I only get the one day off as I'm at college and also work.
I'm the same as the guy above, pretty much just read the whole project (well skimmed)

The dash came from a person off here.

Well I don't really get that much done. I keep buying things and not getting round to fitting them. I'v got next weekend off so I should finally be able to get something done.
Thanks for your comments.

I should also be picking up a mk1 fiberglass bonnet this week as long as minispeed have some in stock. I also got a few other spares I won on ebay that I'm still waiting to arrive.
