Right well another update. I'v spoken to the person doing the front of my car. He's doing some work do my mates clubby so he can get it MOT'ed ready for L2B. He should be done by easter half term so while I'm away on holiday for half term he's gonna do the front. So I'll come back off holiday to and almost rust free mini reading for the riv run a few weeks after. I would like to get the car painted as well but I don't see that happening before l2b or riv run but I'll try and have it done for Beaulieu. I'm also gonna ask he if he'll take piccys of the work while he does it so I can keep you lot happy.

Right well I finally got round to taking pictures of the stuff I won on ebay.

For £2 I got all this.

and this

as well as a set of mk2 lenses that were in better shape then the ones I had so they've been replaced and also a Wipac headlight that I'v sold for £7.

I'm not gonna lie though the postage was about £12. But £14 for all that I think is still a bargain.

I'v also ordered some new number plates as well. They should be here 2moz all being well.

Also most of the bits above are for sale so if theirs anything their that takes for fancy let me know and we can sort a price.

Ahh Ok,

A nice set of black ones would look nice with the colour of the car. But then they are illegal too! :)

I may end up getting some of those as well at some point. You can never have enough number plates.

Right my number plates came today.

I'm so pleased with them. I'v also decided to go for a fiberglass double skin boot lid. I'm still unsure if I should go for a mk1 style or the later one though.

Well my mate has agreed to take me to minispeed on Monday so I can get my grill. I'm gonna also take a look at bonnets. I dunno if I'll but it then though as I dont want to blow this months wages within the first week lol.

the plan.

Grill this month
boot next month
grill surround month after that.

Their will be other small bits I buy as well but their the 3 most expensive bits I need at the moment.

I'm thinking of getting a mk1 fiberglass double skin boot lid.

But we shall see how money is as I may be picking up another mini soon.

Right well the other thing I did today was go round checking my car for rusty patches that I might need to sort before the car get painted. I'l glad to say that its pretty much solid. Its had a few patches welded in and some of those need grounding down and painting but I can do that.
Theirs just one bit on the back floor/sill that looks bad but it should be an easy one to fix.

The rear bins look solid. As you can see the passenger side has had a repair in their at some point.

Thats it for now. One of my next jobs is to chip all that stuff of the floors and get them painted in hammarite.
