Thanks. Im not quite sure how to fit it and tog et the fuel gauge and lights on it working so I will see what I can do. I would quite like a mini pick up for my next project and I think this would look better in that. Here a better pic of it anyway as well as a pic of the back of it.

I also started to spray the metal panel that covers the hole behind the air filter.

Got quite a bit done today. Finally got the holes cut for the speakers.

Posted Image

While doing this I changed my window seals and put in black window seals instead of chrome ones.

Heres a pic of my new speakers and black window seals.

Posted Image

Those speakers wont be staying in their as I think they look horrid. Will get some alpine ones to match the ones under my seat next time I take a trip to Halfords.

Iv also now fitted that panel behind my car so I no longer have a hole their. It was to dark to get a pic for the next time I update this.

Thats about it now. Already for my trip to Thorpe Park 2moz. Lets hope I get a few more comments this time. It seems to keep going quite here.

Thanks.

HAHA well I dont hang around. Did a bit more today as well. It needs to go to Brian's after castle combe so he can do my bonnet pins. Im also gonna be cheeky and see if he can fit a new rear valance. I have also now decided to fit a new front end. Im unsure if I should go for a flip front or just replace all the panels.

Ok this morning I very quickly and badly painted some of the but under the front bumper the same colour as the car to see what it looks like.

Posted Image

What does everyone think. I think having it red looks alot better then having it black.

Im not going to paint the rest of it though as I really need to replace the front end soon anyway as its a bit dented and out of shape.

Posted Image

Thats about it for now.

Not sure when the next update will be as until I have some money and until I have bought some more bits at castle combe I haven't got anything else to do.

Well got back form london at about 5 so didn't really have time to do anything. Just vacuumed the inside so I no longer have half of the Croften Park in my car. I know iv only just cleaned my car from IMM. Hopefully I will wash it and polish it if the weathers good after college.

Thanks.

Update. Iv ordered a center console from Roberts on here. Next weekend is Castle Combe and im hoping to get new carpets. Black with red outline to match my mates, maybe a new dash depending how much money I have and also some new seals. Both door ones and a front windscreen one so I can that that changed to match the back one. Im gonna go and and paint the rest of the front panel red as I think it looks alot better. I might also fit my boot kit if I have some time.

Cheers. :teehee:

Ok update. Iv now decided to do the whole front panel under the bumper red as it looks alot smarter. This isnt going to se the best paint job as its only got to last untill the winter.

Heres some of the primer.

Posted Image

The primers now drying so when that done I will put the red paint on and post up some piccys.

Anyway im glad to say that some time after Malvern Mini Show the mini will be having a new front subframe all new front panels and new engine Maybe a 1275  as well as outer sills. The car will then have the front end painted as well as any other little nasty bits that need doing. Im hoping to get a new rear valance at castle combe and get that fixed on within the next month or so.

Now to my sound system. This is taking the back seat at the moment until the body works been done. Anyway I will be having 8 speakers an amp and a sub. Already got the 4 6x9s 2 on the parcel shelf and 2 under the back seat. Then I will have to speakers at the front in door pockets and 2 under the bottom dash rail. The sub will be in the boot so will be ordering one of Roberts boot kits.

I think thats about it for now. Is anyone still looking at this topic as its gone quite again.

Anyway.
Thanks Jon.
