I have a fog light knocking about in the shed. I think the bolts sheered off where it fixes to the mount but i will drill them out and find some nuts and bolts if you are interested?

Thanks for the offer mate but iv ordered a reverse lamp that I'm gonna put a red bulb in to so it matches my clear tail lights.

Well went out to change my heater cable today. But instead I broke everything and blew a fuse while giving myself an electric shock. Has anyone got any tips on how the hell you change a heater cable? I thought it would be a 10 min job but never realized how much you had to do.

Yea I did drop the heater down. Im think of changing the choke cable at the same time cause I really don't want the hassle of doing this again in a couple of months down the road if my choke cable decides to brake.

Thanks.

Be careful when doing it. I stabbed my self in the hand while doing it then spent 10 minuets running round the house swearing. I would suggest putting all the screws though first then loosely putting it together until its all snug then tightening it all up.

The holes aren't drilled no. The woods not to hard though so with a bit of force you can just screw it though the wood. Watch how you do that though cause thats how I stabbed my self. It may be a bit easier of you drilled the holes out first though.

I didn't get any with mine as he only had a limited number of those. If he starts to sell them though I'm gonna ask if he will send me some. Have you fitted yours yet?

Ah ok then... I think you would be able to pick them up pretty cheep at any show.

I have just put it all together. There is no point putting it in the car tho because it is still in process :)

Pics of the console are on my project page mate..

Update.

Right seeing as I haven't updated this in nearly a month I think its time I did something about it.

At Mavlern I bought I new interior mirror, some brake discs, some wheel nuts and studs, some grill buttons and a winged bonnet badge.

Ok so at the moment all I have done is fit the new mirror as I was fed up of holding the one I had in place while going down bumpy roads.

My drivers side door lock has broken as well so that on my list of things to do 2moz as well as fit the mk1 gril will the buttons and fill the holes in my mk1 bonnet ready to paint.

May also have a crack at cleaning up my disk set and fitting my new disk and pads ready to put on to replace the front drums.

Thats about it for now.

Cheers.
