YEA YEA its on the list. I will get it done but I'm gonna take the bottom dash rail off while doing it and get one of those recovering kits from retro retrims. I need to strip all the carpet out at some point and hamarite the floor.

I fitted my little badge on the boot that I think looks quite cool.

I have a GB badge for the other side of the number plate but need to get a dent out before I can fit that.
I also went to fit my Mk1 grill with the grill buttons but I cant find my metal drill bits I need to make the hole of the bolts to go through. I did get a pic of it resting in place to get an idea what it would look like though.

I also tryed to fix my lock that my dad broke but couldn't work out how to put it together.
These are the only to bits I have the barrel and some other bit that goes in at the back but I cant work out how as when I put it in a turn the key the door still doesn't lock.

If anyone has any advise on that it would be very helpful.
Thanks. Jon.

Wheel Bearing's

and a new fog light.

after that I went out in the rain to change them. Now that dedication. I had never done this before so wasnt quite sure what I was doing.

The main reason I needed to do this is because im after some new wheels studs as mine are way to long. You can see here.

So after taking one off I went out to see if I could find anywhere I could buy some. I couldn't.
So after all that I didn't get my new studs and never did put my new bearings in.
Anyway good news is that I will be popping down to Minis'r'us to go get some studs 2moz.

On.

Iv fitted my new wheels studs.

Their now to short so I can't have my wheel spacers on
Anyway after a trip out to minis'r'us to see if they had any longer studs. But they didn't.
While I was down their I did buy a new GB badge as I didn't like the one I had bought and I also got the washer I needed to fix my lock.
Iv also seen a mini van down their that I would quite like but they guy isnt sure if he wants to sell it yet.
Anyway Im gonna go out now and fix my lock and fit my new wheel bearings.

So I now have my rear wheels back on with the spacers. YAY!
EDIT. I also forgot to add that while ad Minis'r'us I wasted some money on a new GB badge as I didn't really like the one I had bought to go on their.

Also has anyone got any ideas on what radio Arial I should get? I want one that goes on the roof and as I'm going to strip the interior out after xmas I thought I may as well fit that while I'm doing that.
Thanks.

Looking good jon, like the grill its come up nice, also good luck on the windscreen seal there always good fun when there new! As for the ariel how about an mpi one there roof mounted and cheap enough, link.
Cheers mate. That aerial looks good I'll have a look in to that one. Means I will have to find somewhere else to put my rubber duck.
I never did get the windscreen done. I really need to do it though as my other one is buggered and Simon wants his tool back.

Just wondered where you got your 2 small rear lights, under the bumper, from?
Cheers, keep up the good work fella - Michael
