Other options that spring to mind with decent carparks are the Farmhouse, by Hearsall Common and the Whitefriars on Gosford Street. Nowhere else springs to mind with decent parking.
On a related note, does anyone know what's happened to the CMOC website? Seems to have died...

I'm certainly interested in meeting other local Mini owners and a meet in Cov itself will be a hell of a lot easier to get to than anywhere else.
The Varsity is quite nice and does have a decent car park, it does also have the tendency to get full to overflowing with students of an evening though.

if you ever want to come along to one of our nights either PM me or Jake blues
Cheers! I wasn't so much worried that the website had been neglected as that some time since I last checked it, (less than a month ago) it'd actually disappeared!

Anyway, PM will be heading your way soon. Should probably let this thread go back on topic.

Hia James I am from eastern green - tile hill area, iv seen your mini around a few times but mine isnt getting out as often as it should at the moment due to having a company car, so even more reason to get it out to a club meet!

Ooh is this going ahead then???
by the way i am good for this sunday too!

As I understand it, the CMOC meet is around that time on Sunday too. If we're going to get as many local people as possible, we probably want to avoid clashing with it given there seem to be a lot of CMOC members in Cov. I was certainly planning to make the effort to get out to Higham on the Hill and meet some more new people.

Monday maybe? Take advantage of the Bank Holiday?

Might be worth spreading the word about it if people are going to other meets such as the cmoc on sunday. once a time and venue has been confirmed.
Monday sounds alright to me tho, but saying that im easy!
