Well apparently you should look where you’re going. I learnt thins the hard way on Friday.

Let me set the scene, there I was enjoying my Friday night by going Scuba diving in the Bristol University swimming pool, the session was about to end and we had one last fun activity to try. This involved diving down to the deep end (3m) getting all your kit off, swimming back to the surface and then go back down and re-kit.

It was all going well until I swam back to the surface as fast as I could and failed to noticed I had drifted under a diving platform that went just under the surface of the water. So I shot up and smacked straight into it. This hurt a fair bit and luckly someone noticed I wasn’t looking too good, helped me out the pool and it was then I realised I was leaking the red stuff from my head, opps. So some treatment for the lovely pool attendant ladies, a drive to hospital and a 2 hour wait and I had my head glued back together. Nice!

Not a great start to the weekend but lesson learnt!

in all fairness i did something similar the other day on the corner of an aircraft engine panel, near dam scalped myself so I know how much it must of hurt.

Nurburgring is still not looking good but we shall see.

Thinning, thinned is more accurate. But the I bet I use less shampoo than most

I also learned the hard way about looking where i was going! It involved walking face first into a cast iron signpost. Only reason i managed this was because it was raining and blowing toward us, so my sister, who had an umbrella, held it forward slightly so i didnt see it till last minute .

And Charlie, I think its just because you're getting old that you did that, you must be losing your marbles a bit!
