I am just in the process of putting some unwanted parts on Ebay. I was just about to put my Landar alloy rocker cover on and did a quick search to find out what it may be worth. Now the reason I took it off the car was because I knew it would not have been on the car when it was made (1968). However, after searching I have found that the Landar cars were produced in the late 60s. My questions to all reading this are, would you recommend putting it back on my car as a period feature to replace my pressed steel standard cover, and if not, what do you think it would be worth if I decided to sell?

If you like it, refit it.
If you do sell, start the bidding at £50, but wait a week before you do as I have a HRG cover on there at the moment and it will probably be beneficial to both of us if there werent 2 period covers on at the same time.

Taken from Here

Landar Alloy Rockercover.

This alloy rockercover was produced specifically for use on a "Landar" kit car. This rear engined Mini derived racing car was produced in small numbers towards the end of the 1960's. There are a few surviving examples but there are a few more of the rockercovers now. Click on image opposite for better view.

Just tried fitting this on my car and the Embossed logo is upside down. Suppose the reason behind that is because the engine in a Landar is in the back of the car :)
