Most likely the parts are original,
I'm not too sure when the stamping/marking stopped, I would guess that they would have been marked right up till the end of production?

Mowog was an 800lb gorilla employed by BL to tighten up the flywheel bolts using a large wrench and a length of scaffold pole. Apparently

im trying to roughly date a engine i have been given it has no cylinder head marks as it has been re bored to 1400 or 1380 i am unsure . but most parts have mowog stamped on them what sort of year do you think it could be ? did they do mowog parts to a certain year or where they made from 1959 to 2000 ?
thanks steve

MOWOG seems to have started disappearing from parts in the 1980's - probablyw hen the original tooling was replaced as it wore out.
The casting number in the back of the block is a reasonable clue as to age - 12G 1279 was non S 1300 block from 1967 > 1980.
