[b]Description of problem
what it is i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to lower the steering wheel using the colom drop bracket
is there any other bolts i have to loosen and what not

That done undo the column securing bolt (if your unlucky the sheer bolt will have sheered and you will have to cut a slot in for a flat blade screwdriver) and fit in the new bracket. With the bolts done up just enough to hold the weight set the height to what you want it to be then tighten it all up, being careful not to over do the sheer bolt as it will sheer of and mean any future changes are a pain.

Apart from that be sure you allow the rack to align with the column by slackening the U bolts around it - that's the 2 pairs of nuts on floor that aren't the for subframe mountings.

hello just a warning, they can and will destroy the threads on the steering column, if too low
Do you mean the "Splines" at the column to rack point? As longs as the rack is re-aligned to the column there shouldn't be a problem?
