Hey
I'm after some speaker pods for 10cm speakers for the front of my mini, and I want them to attach to the dashboard underside.
Im not bothered too much what they look like, I just need something to hold my speakers!
Can anyone make me some? I just dont have the tools to do it myself (and I'm a weener with diy!)
Obviously I'll buy them from you! I have a limited budget though! If anyone can do it for less than Ive found them on ebay that'd be amazing!
Thanks
Kirsty

Mine are in little square pods under the dash. I bought some old rear shelf square pod speakers with 10cm Speakers in. Changed the Speakers for 250W Fli Speakers, turned them upside down and hey presto, fitted neat under the dash.
Check on ebay for rear shelf speakers. Alternatively, I found mine in the back of an old punto in the scrappy and cost me £2. !!!

here's what I did under the dash in my mini..
used some old mk1 speedo binnacles upside down under the dash, keeps the speakers out of the way a bit more so they dont get damaged. Also they can't be seen from outside of the car which is great!
they point down a little, but they still sound great.. no different to door pods really which point right at your ankles anyway. tweeters are just under the dash rail on the sides pointing at driver and passenger so staging is still good.
The speakers you linked to in the original post will sound rubbish, but you could use the cases with some decent speakers put inside them
