Can anybody help me here - my engine has been in bits for a while now, and I've dumped all old compents such are water & oil pumps, main & big end bearings etc - took the block to have new cam bearings put in this morning but noticed that I've mislaid one of the locating dowels for the waterpump - must have lodged in the old one... I've checked Minispares but can't immediately find one - can anyone link me to part reference from a supplier.... - preferably minispares as I'm in Potters Bar once a month for work and regularly take a detour to spend the excess fuel expenses but Somerford are an equally easy stop off on the way home....

Failing that anyone got a spare?

Water pump dowels are not essential. When fitting, just make sure that the pump rotates freely before bolting-up firmly. In fact, it's s good idea to clean around the block where the pump sits and the vanes rotate with a piece of emory to remove any muck.
