If you've read my project post, u'll know that my mini is currently getting resprayed silver and purple. At the moment I have a red bootliner! I'm wanting to change it to a purple one, and I'm thinking it'll be cheaper to jus re-cover it than it will be to buy a new one.
But....here's the problem the material that it's covered in isn't carpet, it's been described (by the carpetman in the carpet shop) as being industrial felt like! and I've been told to contact a auto-trimmer? I went into many car shops and none of them had any 'contacts' for auto-trimmers! I just wondered if any of you guys knew where I could get any from, before I start randomly looking through the yellow pages?

anyone know of anywhere i maybe able to get some from?

if you are able to get to leicester in the haymarket there is a guy called the foam place he sells al types of coverings also cuts to shape etc hes a top bloke if he can help he will its in the top floor of the indoor market! hope this info helps

i was only saying what the carpetman had said! i thoght it was carpet thats why i went to a carpet shop!

you could go to any upholsterer and just ask them to match it in purple, they can get absolutely anything

cheers eva so much, but cus i wasnt having much luck finding any in purple i've ended up getting some in black already!
