does anybody know the weight of a zcars monte carlo mini?

oh and do you think a monte carlo could be made to accelerate as fast as let's say a supercharged ariel atom? I'm only asking because i'm chinking of doing a zcars conversion but using my steel bodied clubman, and wanting something as fast as an atom, but then i thought losts of weight saving. so then i thought about one of there sprint shells instead of a steel body loads of weight saving already without any chopping of bodywork.

But then i thought instead of a sprint shell just go all the way and get a monte carlo. Do they weigh the same? I know the atom weighs in at about 458kg. I think i'm more towards the monte carlo just because it's got a roof for the rainy days we so often have. oh and i know there different aerodynamics involved with each vehicle but you must beable to make one as fast.

cheers
Gaz

you dont need to know the weight to know how fast they accelerate.

in the video on the zcars website, the monte carlo does 0-60 in 2.83 seconds.

atoms 0-60 is about 2.9-3 seconds

so the monte carlo is slightly quicker but they are very similar and equally matched.

the monte carlo comes in at £22500

the ariel atom is £30k+ but you could maybe pick on up second hand for a similar price to the monte carlo.
