Hi,

For my B16A1 Zcars conversion I've reached the 'wiring' part.

problems...... I've started with the loom business which I'm not really that good at..... Choose to use the Honda loom and cut everything out that I don't need. Hopefully did that alright.....

What does the startermotor need to turn over? I've connected the battery, grounds on the engine and connected the starter key. It doesn't work!

What an I missing? What are the start conditions needed before you can start the car? Like, does the fuel pump need to be connected or the radiator fan dashboard ect?????

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance!

René

to spin the starter motor over you need positive to the solenoid - via a switch. earth from batt to shell, and to engine. and main big cable from batt to starter motor.
that will spin over the engine. it wont start with that though...

have you a cable from the alternator to the starter motor which then goes back to the batt?

good luck

By solenoid you mean the main relay????

No, I have a cable from the alternator to the main relay box, and from the Batt to the starter motor....
