Roll pin,

Do belive it's 5/16ths size. Or you can use a bolt and nylon locking nut if you can't find a rollpin.

Or if you do happen to put another roll pin in and this is from personal experience when I tried to fix the common mini oil leak. When I couldn’t get the roll pin out with the car up on stands, was more concerned about it falling off them and onto me. I gave up and took it in to work and got it up onto the 2 poster, after about an hour of swearing, some brushed knuckles ands a broken hammer it was out. Looked like one was put inside the other which was stopping it from coming out easily. But do you think the new pin would stay put, did I heck, as it kept working loose after a short drive. So to solve it till it corrodes in place like the last one was to thread some thin wire through the pin and twisted to stop it from being able to fall out.

And it still bloody leaks. >_<

I'd say the roll pin falling out is a blessing in disguise. I spent 3 hours under my car trying to get it out the first time and there was no shortage of cursing and swearing. I'd definately go with the bolt and Nyloc

Not when you on a bussy roundabout and go for second only to find no gears. :D
