I am going to be rebuilding my carb for my can and i am wanting to polish the outside of the carb to make it shiny and not look dirty. I was wondering what would be the best thing to use to polish it... would it be a metal polish sort of thing or somthing else.

Try white sprit and 000000 wire wool (from BnQ in wood work are) to get any cr@p off first...

then give it a good going over with brasso or other metal polish
