I am looking for some advice on this matter.
I have a set of 12 x 4.5 mini lights I just put on the car and the back tires seem to be rubbing on the shock and the rear tow hook.
I was under the impression that these would fit without a problem but they would be tight.
What should I do? Can I just add in a spacer to the rim and be good? If so how much should I add and still not have to change the normal wheel studs?
Thanks in Advance.

Standard drums.
It seems from other research that any 12 inch wheel will require longer studs as well as spacers. I have been doing some other reading and this seems to be the general responses I have found. Since the 12 inch wheel only came on cars with front disc brakes the back were spaced out 1 inch to make it even with the front and to allow the extra clearance. So it seems I am going to have to get spacers and longer studs on mine.
Matty,
I would assume the same for yours as well if your going with standard drums and 12 inch wheels.

you might find a 5mm spacer shim on the rear will give you the clearance you need, thats what i found on my old clubby which had standard drums all round

Where are you located? Think I've got some 1 inch spacers somewhere you can have for free if you're local to Egham in Surrey. Don't know how much they are to buy. No studs though, threw them out

I am in Ontario Canada but would be happy to pay the post cost on them if your willing to throw them in a box and send them on over.
I have sent you a PM with information.
