Sealed: 0.875 ft^3
Vented: 1.25 ft^3
That's per sub.

how big of a amp do you have to power the pair of subs?
2.5cubes before port and sub
and i would do between 25-37 sq inch of port, but i would shoot for around 31, it will give you a good mix between
spl and sq
and me myself, i do slot ports over round ports
i could tell you how deep the port needs to be for a tuning but
i would need to know the specs on the box your building
and where you wanted it tuned to

31 sqaure inch of port in the boxcheers dude, you recon i should head for about 31cubic inches inside the box then??
does the length of the post make a diference???
say like 15.5x2 slot port would be 31sq inch of port
i don't think i would make a slot port that skinny tho
but a good rule to follow is 10-15sq inch of port per every cube of air space
and port lenght is how you tune the box to the freq, for daily set up, something around 30-36hz will work fine,
most say 33hz is the sweet spot tune for a female, if you know what i mean, lol
here's a box i built for two type r 12's being powered by 1600watts
