Hello all...

My dad bought his first mini in 17-18 years on Saturday...It has hub caps, and in good condition. A few people have expressed an interest in them and dad doesn't want them at all....what sort of price is exceptable to sell a set for? I've only ever old alloys second hand, never hub caps.

Guessing they've seen better days and have a few scratches here and there (most do) £10-£15

Autosol usually brings up a good shine on them. I got a set with my reverse rims but i'll be keeping them :P

Seem in quite good condition actually, just the odd small dent here and there, either from a curb or two, or maybe where they've been forced on...

:P

Which kind are you talking about, the type that is all in one and fills the wheel or an actual hub cap to be used alone or with a ring to enhance the appearance. I've seen a few of the all in one type for sale but not so many of the two piece variety.

As above, depends a lot on what they are, and what logo's they have.

A set of 12" plastic wheel trims maybe £10, whereas an original set of chrome 10" Wolseley 2-piece caps, maybe £60.

Could tell you better if we could see them, in fact post a photo and someone may make an offer.

hehe yeah he is pink, but looking a wee bit tired and weathered :ermm:

I adore these hubs, really nice, however I have 2 sets of alloys, Astrallies, and Semi Superlights, my dad wants Deep Dishers, so we have no need for them, I know someone who wants a set of hubs, but don't know what to sell these for! :D And there's no logos whatsoever >_<

a mate put some similar ones on ebay recently. they were originally on 1959 minis and had square holes round the edge rather than round holes. those went for silly money. i reckon if you clean them up they should go for £40 a set, maybe more. but to be honest, theyre worth what someone is willing to pay for them
