To convert an auto car to a manual you will basically need the entire engine, front subframe, pedal box, manual clutch components ie master and slave cylinder and of course the gear lever compenents.

We changed our 200 sx from auto to manual. I'll ask the 'man of the house' for more details, I know it's a different car but it might help??

We didn't have to change the engine

I think it's easier to change the lot. The auto engine block is very different to the manual block; it will require lots of machining work... I read on the aussi forum, that A+ engine blocks are even harder to convert...

And you'll need some spacers for the engine mounts, as the auto subframe is wider where the engine mounts sit o make room for the taller auto gearbox.

Have a read here: http://www.ausmini.c...opic.php?t=1461 (and read the part about the A+ auto blocks!)

A year is a long time for the car to be sitting. Really it needs firing up and driving at least once a fortnight.
