i am prepping my shell for spraying. i have panelled in the rear side windows of my clubby est to change it into a clubvan. i seam sealed the window frames around the panels due to the small water trap gap. i have got smears of sealer where they shouldn't be. it has been on for a couple of days now. any tips on removing the damn stuff.?

thanks in advance.

it doesn't want to sand as it is not hard like filler, it still is hard but flexible so sanding isn't working.

use a hairdryer and a paint scraper, (the one like a spatula,) if its on a flat panel to get it of and leave it smoothe then sand back,
if its not on a flat panel u can get a scraper thats got points to it and scrape it out of the gaps, heers an examplescraper

What sealer is it?

Usually are a PITA to remove once set/dried. So unfortunately you might have to scrape it off somehow and repaint the area.....

Try some white spirit on a rag, try soak it for 10mins then go back and rub it away with the rag.

thinners and paper towel, much easier to mask the areas then pull tap off once sealer is applied

Automotive paint thinners will take the primer straight off, i dont think he wants to do that, so i suggest normal household thinners would be better as it wont damage the primer.
